Psst - here’s the Top 10 Questions you should be asking your Listing Agent…

  • Do you offer design guidance, staging support, or vendor referrals for repairs or updates? And do you know what buyers are actually getting excited about these days, and how to best highlight those features?

  • Isn’t a clean house enough—or do buyers really care about furniture placement and throw pillows? I mean, we’re selling the house, right? Not the furniture.

  • Are you doing more than the “Three P’s of Real Estate”? (1. Post it on MLS, 2. Put a sign in the yard, 3. Pray)

  • Is professional media standard, and do you offer things like drone footage, burn reels, or floor plans?

  • Is it based on data, current competition, and market trends—or just a gut feeling? (Or even worse, are you just copy/pasting the Zestimate?)

  • Are your homes sitting for weeks—or are they moving fast (without leaving money on the table) ?

  • How often will I hear from you—and will I be talking to you directly or someone else on your team?

  • What’s your approach when the offers, inspections, and appraisals come in—and how do you make sure I’m walking away with the best possible deal?

  • What’s the plan if we don’t get immediate offers—will we pivot or just wait it out?

  • What does your commission cover, and are there any other fees I should expect as the seller? Do I have to pay extra for your special skills—like staging consult, design help, or project management?

“I have recommended her to everyone I know & almost wish I had another home to sell so I could work with her again—it was that much fun.

— Linda Kay, seller client
